By taking lessons with Amy I learned the skills necessary to achieve 1st chair in All South Jersey Jr. High Honors Band two years in a row.

Dr. Amy Schumaker Bliss loves being a music educator. She is interested in helping each person develop into a complete musician. She believes that a good understanding of music performance, music history, and music theory contributes to a person's overall understanding of the world and can benefit everyone whether he or she wants to become a professional musician or not.
Amy specializes in baritone and euphonium at all levels and also teaches trombone and tuba through the high school level. She has taught a wide variety of ages and learning styles. She travels across the country coaching university ensembles, brass chamber groups, and brass bands.
